IMDb Plot Synopsis: One night in Los Angeles, Adrian Grenier, star of the HBO series "Entourage," encountered 14-year-old paparazzo Austin Visschedyk. Astounded and inspired by the fast-talking, faster-snapping teen, Grenier decided to turn the cameras on Visschedyk in an effort to better understand this unique teenager’s world and gain insight into what motivates people to stalk the famous.

My Review: Teenage Paparazzo is an incredible documentary that had me completely fascinated until the very end. It’s not only an insightful look at this 14 year olds life as a paparazzi; a bizarre career choice for anybody really, even more so for a boy so young.
But it’s also a fantastic look into celebrity culture and the media and the issues surrounding them. It really did keep me hooked until the last scene as it evolves into so much more than it promises in the beginning. It’s interesting as it’s postmodern in the way that the whole documentary was made by a celebrity himself, turning the cameras onto the cameras which then follow him become a paparazzi for a day and then in the last act we see the effects the documentary has had on Austin and Adrian’s lives.
It was just a brilliant watch and I would definitely recommend it if you get the chance to see it.
Score: 9/10
